mark the one-year anniversary of the january 6th riot with speeches on capitol hill. it comes as attorney general merrick garland said the doj has no higher priority than bringing those involved in the attack to justice. the justice department remains committed to holding all january 6th perpetrators at any level accountable under law, whether they were present that day or otherwise criminally responsible for the assault on our democracy. we will follow the facts wherever they lead. ashley: garland says so far more than 725 people have been arrested and charged with crimes related to the capitol riots. and fox news contributor charlie hurt says this about democrats: these are people that don t get out much. if they got out a little bit more they would realize nobody is talking about this.
