Ashley Smethurst and her brood sent out 207 homemade Christmas dinners, ensuring that nobody went with an empty belly on the holiday. We want to thank our delivery drivers and our neighbor for the help without you we wouldn t get this done and our donors that helped us feed that many people, Smethurst said on social media. This was our second year handing out Christmas dinner and last year we handed out only 53 we more than tripled this year plus handing out desserts with the dinners. (It took) months of planning and weeks of prepping and taking orders and few days of cooking everything and an entire day to get the meals out.
