Eli Canfield/The Times Record BRUNSWICK Using a 15-0 run bridging the first and second quarters, Brunswick wiped out an early deficit to win its long-awaited opener, 53-40 over Freeport Tuesday night in girls’ basketball. Logan Brown finished with 11 points for Brunswick, including seven straight at the end of the first quarter, part of the run that helped the Dragons recover from a 13-6 deficit.
