New Mexico JC bolstered its position on top of the National TFRI this past weekend with a few new or improved national top-10 marks. The best of the bunch belonged to
Victoria Villaneuva, who took over the national lead in the pole vault at 3.75m (12-3½).
Second-ranked
South Plains (Texas) made up some ground thanks to adding a plethora of top marks to the Descending Order List.
Joniar Thomas is the headliner, though, as she soared 6.16m (20-2½) for the national lead in that event.
Third-ranked
Barton County CC chipped in six new or improved national top-10 marks this past weekend. The Cougars received chart-toppers from
Flomena Asekol in the 1500 (4:30.12c),
Kimeone McLeod in the 100H (13.68c),
Victoria Villanueva in the pole vault (3.52m/11-6½) and
Luisarys Toledo in the heptathlon (5251).
Former No. 1
South Plains (Texas) is now ranked No. 2. The Lady Texans added or improved upon 11 national top-10 marks. South Plains (Texas) saw a few national leaders come out of the weekend:
Rosemary Chukwuma in the 100 (11.23w) and the 4×100 relay (45.29).
Joniar Thomas amassed 5132 points in the heptathlon to cement her No. 2 standing in the NJCAA.
Third-ranked
Barton County CC held steady from Week 1. Out of the 21 national top-10 marks that the Cougars have, they added or improved 10 of them this past weekend.
