Recently, a group of student leaders gathered at the Iowa Lakes Board of Trustees Meeting. Troy Larson, executive dean of students, proudly introduced the students, who college officials said hold vital student leadership roles at Iowa Lakes Community College, such as student senators, Laker Crew ambassadors and resident and graduate assistants. Among them were student senators Ashley Lappe of Okoboji, Taylor Schneider of Spirit Lake, and Sara Feeley of Spirit Lake.
