Predeceased by her beloved husband Dr. Brian Tallon, her parents Reilly and Alice (Smith) Hodgins, her brother Robert (Bob) and his wife Bonnie (Weir) Hodgins, her sister Colleen Hunt and her grandniece Meghan Hodgins. She is survived by her aunt Marion (Marnie) Dion, her nephew Michael Hodgins (Joy Blanchard), her niece Shannon Hodgins (Mike Secours), her grandnieces Ashley Hodgins and Erin Hodgins, and sister in law and life time friend Nancy Weir.
Jill was born in Cornwall, ON on August 25, 1937. After graduating from Western University, Jill returned to Cornwall, where she worked for a short period of time in the family lumber business before moving to Geneva, Switzerland and joining the Conference of International Catholic Organizations.
