About three blocks from the Pearl, a drab warehouse and a pile of dirt sit on a lot between two clusters of luxury townhomes.
Most of the site between East Locust and West Grayson streets was once occupied by Flasher Equipment, a manufacturer of traffic signs. It was purchased several years ago by SOJO Urban Development, a local group that built the townhomes on one side.
