Scottsdale residents can help shape the long-term future of city parks. The parks and recreation master plan will provide a roadmap to identify projects, priorities and funding over the next 10-plus years. It will include short and long-term goals for existing parks and recreation services, open spaces and other community needs.
The controversial $6.1 million Ashler Hills Park has been put on hold by the Scottsdale Planning Commission after area residents spoke against it at a recent meeting.
