ASHLAND - The city s economy made it through a difficult 2020 dominated by the coronavirus pandemic in better shape than expected.
That was the main theme Thursday of Mayor Matt Miller s State of the City address, which covered the city s accomplishments from the past year, including not only the economy, but also streets, parks and economic development. Property values are going up here in Ashland and our economic base must be getting stronger, Miller said. People are working here and making money. People are spending their money here in Ashland at levels that we have not seen in the past.
