It was a hectic day at the local caucus sites. Erin breen visited multiple sites across the Biggest Little city to talk to voters the excitement of todays caucus. And some long lines to get inside. And when i say lines. I mean serious lines. Lines that crowded the hallways. Wound around corners and led right out the door. Lines that wore on those waiting in them. Norma i thought it was a little disorganized and there was to use of automatic counting and technology that i think should have beeen employed. David mandel the registration was slow they were all volunteers and they clearly could have had more training and practice i think. You go this way. You go that way. The caucus we were following was too big for the first room. So we moved. Do we bring our chairs . The second room didnt work out either. So we moved to the cafeteria. Went smoothly. Make sure we maintain integrity in the elections. We dont have same day registration for that reason. We dont want people just changing back and forth. Officer Jesse Hartnett is recovering aaer he was shot at 11 times. Surviellance video from the shooting last night shows just how close the officer came to death. The gunman charged the patrol car and opened fire. Even getting his gun inside the vehicle. Officers say he shot at least 11 times, hitting officer hartnett three times in the left arm.
