A witness to one of three murders gave emotional testimony in the Charles Severance case today. The murders happened in alexandria over a 10year period, but the case will be tried in fairfax. During this Pretrial Hearing today, she broke down and sobbed on the witness stand remembering ruthanne lodatos murder. And she said she saw the gunman, felt a terrible pain when she was shot in the shoulder, fell to the ground, and started screaming. The family is deeply and forever grateful to her. She was heroic, courageous. It appears they have since contacted the family. In fact Fire Department ambulance just showed up a short time ago because a relative young boy who was killed was on the ground in tears. Potentially hyper ventilating that is when they brought in emts they just found out family died earlier this evening a boy was hit by an suv while he was riding down main street in brockton. Boy who believed to be around 13 years old died at the scene. Our biggest challenge right now at this point is tryin t the victim. We really need to be able to contact the family of the victim of this accident. Thats where our focus is right now. Brockton mayor says they have the boys cell phone but havent able to contact any family yet driver of suv stopped immediately after hitting the victim. Several Police Agencies are now investigating but right now it is unclear who is at fault. The driver himself is young. Not long after the crash, drivers a teenage driver. Clearly visibly shaken. Vanessa marcott was found in the woods near her familys home in august. The investigation into her murder has never stopped. And now Police Believe they have a key piece of information to lead them to her killer. The District Attorneys Office says they are looking for a dark colored s. U. V. Witnesses say the vehicle was parked on brook station road where marcott was found and where the murder is thought to have taken place. Was likely injured at the time of the attack. The Boston University alum now worked for google and was visiting family in princeton when she went out for a jog. Her family reported her missing when she didnt come back from the run. Search crews combed the woods for days looking for evidence. Police and family members called on the public for any clues into her death. Now they are hoping this clue about the dark colored s. U. V.
