USACE officials tour Port of Baltimore April 1, 2021, by Eldin Ganic
Officials from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and staff from the U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee toured the Port of Baltimore yesterday.
According to the Port’s official announcement, the delegation visited the marine terminals, surveyed the area of study for the Seagirt loop channel, and toured the Masonville and Cox Creek dredge containment facilities.

Inflow from the Seagirt Berth 3 dredging project was in full operation at Masonville.
“Working closely with our partner Ports America Chesapeake, this project will allow us to accommodate ultra large container ships simultaneously at the 50’ berths,” the Port stated.
