Farmers' Rail Roko protest in Punjab Date: While over 200 farmer unions are marching towards Delhi to protest against the Central government, emphasizing their demands, the State president of BKU (Ugrahan) Joginder Singh Ugrahan on Wednesday announced a Rail Roko protest across Punjab from 12 noon to 4 pm on Feb 15 against the alleged police and government's atrocities on farmers who are marching towards Delhi as a part of their 'Delhi Chalo' protest.
Petrol and Diesel prices in Punjab: The rates of petrol and diesel in Punjab witnessed a slight hike amids the farmers' protest at Punjab and Haryana's border points. In Punjab, the petrol prices are at Rs 98.29 while the diesel is also being sold at Rs 88.95 per liter.
