Priyanka Upendra’s upcoming flick ‘1980’ has generated a lot of curiosity ever since the film was announced. Now with the teaser release, the curiosity has gone up by several notches. The film is a suspense thriller and the tone is rather dark and eerie. As suggested by the title, the film is set in the 80s and Priyanka has undergone a major makeover for her role. ‘1980’ has been directed by Raj Kiran who has previously worked as Assistant Director on films like ‘Savaari 2’ and ‘Missed Call’. Most portions of the film have been shot in Chikmagalur and Madikeri.
