Dhanbad SSP Sanjiv Kumar said that it appeared from a CCTV footage that the ADJ was hit by a speeding auto SINDRI: The additional judicial magistrate (ADJ-8) of Dhanbad, Uttam Anand, died in a road accident on Wednesday morning. Following the incident, the Dhanbad bar association abstained from judicial work for the day to mourn Anand’s death. Anand reportedly came out of his judge’s colony home to take a morning walk at around 5am. Only minutes later, a speeding vehicle hit him a few metres away from the Randhir Verma square on the Main Road. A passer-by took the severely injured ADJ to the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
