Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma was dealing with a plea filed by Kejriwal challenging his March 21 arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi excise scam case.
Echoing the CM, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “The courts are supposed to be a safe space for all citizens. The Saket district court is located in a posh locality in Delhi. There are strict instructions that a person entering court premises has to pass through the metal detector. How did a gun get inside?”
According to police, Singh had enrolled in the Bar Council of Delhi in 2005. He practised at Saket court, dealing in civil and criminal cases. In 2017, an advocate, also practising at Saket court, filed a case of land grab against him, due to which he was suspended from BCD on September 12 last year for two years.
