Massillon Museum to host student exhibition The Times-Reporter The Massillon Museum’s Fred F. Silk Community Room Gallery will host the exhibition, “My Community: Through the Eyes of the 21st-Century African American Child” from Feb. 7 through March 21.  A component of the Arts Facet the Kent Area Chapter of The Links, Inc., the exhibition will feature photography by middle school student photographers. Twenty students received digital instruction from Cleveland Print Room instructors using Zoom. The photography project was initiated in 2017. A social justice component was added this year to expose students to prominent African American photographers and career opportunities in photojournalism and photography. The images in the exhibit will also offer a glimpse into the students’ community and surroundings while sheltering in place due to COVID-19.
