MARQUETTE The city of Marquette Arts and Culture Division is currently accepting funding requests for Art Week 2021 events and activities, which takes place June 21 through June 26.
Art Week kicks off the summer event season, inviting local artists, organizations and businesses to come together and collaborate on a series of arts and cultural programming including concerts, workshops, performances, demonstrations, exhibits and installations and more.
This year’s theme is “Reconnecting through the Arts.” While it is not required, it is strongly encouraged that proposed events connect to and play off this theme. In addition, events must take place outdoors, allow for appropriate social distancing, and be free and open to the public.
