Tim Scrace s sketches preview Salisbury summer installation

Architect and artist Tim Scrace prepares installation of interactive sculpture for Salisbury High Street Installation completes today (21.05) of architect and artist Tim Scrace s competition-winning temporary sculpture in Salisbury’s High Street. Photographs will follow but in the meantime, continuing the theme of the latest AJ issue on drawing which was published yesterday, we present two sketches of the artists s work. Advertisement Constructed from materials including polished stainless steel, recycled paper and reclaimed Chilmark stone from Salisbury Cathedral’s works yard, the sculpture will remain in place throughout the summer. The sculpture was was commissioned by Salisbury’s Business Improvement District (BID and is funded by Arts Council England’s National Lottery Funding Grant.

A NEW temporary sculpture celebrating movement and the Salisbury has been installed on High Street. The sculpture celebrates the themes of movement and reflection and incorporates hand-selected stones from Salisbury Cathedral’s works yard.
