Montgomery Ballet brining three dances of Le Conservatoire to Pike Road on Saturday

Montgomery Ballet’s Le Conservatoire is coming to Pike Road on Saturday.
This 6 p.m. performance at The Chapel at the Waters a triple bill including Le Conservatoire, Awakening of the Flora, and an excerpt of Coppélia.
The title piece was choreographed by Danish choreographer August Bournonville in 1849, and gives a Degas-esque view into a classic French ballet school, complete with vigilant ballet master and candid students.
Awakening of the Flora is a more polished ensemble of four dancers, by French choreographer Marius Petipa, that premiered in 1894.
