Prince Philip died at Windsor Castle on Friday April 9, aged 99. He had close connections to Wiltshire stretching back to 1946 when he served as a Royal Navy Lieutenant at the HMS Royal Arthur Petty Officer training base in Corsham. The ceremonial royal funeral is being broadcast on BBC One television and on BBC national and local radio. The service is taking place in St George’s Chapel inside Windsor Castle.
