Navy Veteran honored in La Crosse on his 100th birthday June 27, 2021 5:14 PM Kade Overton Updated: LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A Navy veteran celebrated a special birthday Sunday. Arthur Ford was born on this day 100 years ago. He served in World War 2, the Pacific Campaign, and the Asia-Pacific. Sunday, he was joined by friends and family at the Frighthouse in La Crosse to celebrate. Ford also helped teach Sunday school, has been on the Board of Education and the Board of Deacons. Now he just wants others to find joy in life as he does. “Song in your heart, a smile on your face, and enjoy your life,” said 100-year-old Navy veteran Arthur Ford
