A new elementary school is being built in Northeast Cedar Rapids as both arthur and garfield elementary buildings will close at the end of the school year. And
Hundreds of people toured Garfield and Arthur elementary schools in northeast Cedar Rapids Saturday morning. The schools are being retired by the Cedar Rapids Community School District at the end of this academic year, and replaced by Trailside Elementary School.
