Michel-Ange Siaba have been listed among the 28 nominees for the
Northeast-10 Conference Woman and Man of the Year awards, both of which are selected by the league s Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) Council.
Each nominee is a senior student-athlete that has excelled in all areas of their collegiate careers, on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. The two respective winners are set to be announced from a group of three finalists, and honored as part of a virtual event streamed via NE10 NOW on Monday, June 7, at 7 p.m. The 2020-21academic year marks the ninth year in which a Man of the Year will be named, while the NE10 Woman of the Year has been awarded since 2006 and will be put forth as the Conference s official NCAA Woman of the Year nominee.

2021 Edward E. Martin Senior Scholar-Athlete Awards
The Edward E. Martin Scholar-Athlete award is presented annually to senior student-athletes who have combined academic success, with a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average, with athletic achievement. This year s recipients are seniors
LOS ANGELES - ARIZONA STATE’S
Samantha Plaster has been named the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2021 season, the conference announced today. The award is presented in each of the 24 sports sponsored by the Pac-12 and was established to honor collegiate student-athletes that are standouts both academically and in their sports discipline.
A kinesiology major with a 4.00 grade-point average, Plaster is currently in the top five for individual career wins at Arizona State, ranking fourth with 57 wins. The senior also holds ASU’s record for most career wins by a pair with 44 alongside Kate Baldwin, with whom she was named to the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team as a sophomore in 2019. She was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team in 2019, as well as making the 2020 Spring Academic Honor Roll.

THIS WEEK (April 15, 2021): The Washington State Cougars (13-11, 4-5) close out their Pac-12 regular season conference schedule when they visit No. 50 Washington Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in Seattle. The Cougars then continue their road trip Sunday when they visit No. 4 Pepperdine at Noon in Malibu, Calif.
