Last year, the Long Island airport was voted the number six small airport in the US, according to the reader poll on the USA Today website. Readers can vote to make it one of the top ten best small airports in the country. The nominees were released on January 6 and voting will continue through February 1. People can vote on USA Today’s 10Best website. You can cast one vote each day. Winners will be announced February 12.

Long Island MacArthur Airport is once again, a nominee for the USA Today 10Best Readers Choice Awards for Best Small Airport. The nominees were released today and voting is underway through 12 Noon on Monday, February 1. All voting is digital via the 10Best website, and members of the public may cast one vote per device each day. Winners will be announced February 12, 2021. We are honored to be one of the 15 airports selected by a panel of experts. We are hoping our loyal base of travelers and the Long Island community will vote each day, said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
