CASPER, Wyo. “The word suicide is always a big elephant in the room. and in Wyoming it is actually larger than an elephant. It is like a woolly mammoth.”
Those were the words of Wyoming Rep. Rachel Rodriquez-Williams (Park County) during the Wyoming House of Representatives’ Wednesday, Feb. 3 floor session. She was advocating for legislation that would require school districts across the state to offer suicide prevention training programs for students.

CASPER, Wyo. Wyoming House District 05 Rep. Shelly Duncan said during Wednesday’s floor session that House Bill 13 aims to some of Wyoming’s liquor laws in a manner that is “business friendly.”
The proposed legislation would clarify that businesses with a retail liquor licence, microbrewery permit, winery permit, winery satellite permit or a manufacturer licencee with a satellite location are able to “deliver or contract to have delivered alcoholic liquors and malt beverages to customers.”
Duncan said that the Wyoming attorney general has delivered an opinion that delivery of alcohol products by full retail liquor licenses holders is already legal in the state.
