Cincinnati s Juneteenth festival to be televised, shown online Clancy Burke, WKRC © Provided by WKRC Cincinnati CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Cincinnati’s 34th traditional Juneteenth festival won’t be happening in person this year, but there will be several ways to celebrate throughout the month. It all starts Tuesday, June 1 with a flag raising at the Cincinnati Art Museum’s Art Climb, followed by a Hamilton County flag raising on June 17 and a flag raising at Cincinnati City Hall on June 18. “We’re really excited that the city is coming into acknowledgment of Cincinnati Juneteenth,” a board member of the Cincinnati Juneteenth Foundation, Virginia Patterson said. “We’re really excited that Hamilton County is on board, City Hall supports us, and of course, the support of the Cincinnati Art Museum.”
