CMPD identifies driver killed after shooting, crash in southwest Charlotte WSOCTV.com News Staff Replay Video UP NEXT A man who died after crashing into a power pole Thursday night in southwest Charlotte had been shot several times, police said. Detectives said the crash happened around 10:15 p.m. along Arrowood Road near Interstate 77. When they got to the crash scene, officers found a black Mercedes that had crashed off the roadway into a power pole.
