The new bee species was first identified by Favizia Freitas de Oliveira, a research scientist with the Institute of Biology at Brazil’s Federal University of Bahia and Hebert Luiz Pereira, a Bayer consultant who’s firm, HP Agroconsultoria focuses on bee production and conservation. In 2017, both began working with Henrique Fiorese, whose family owns the Nossa Senhora Aparecida Farm, where the discovery was made. Rentokil Initial Lifts FY20 Forecast For Adj. PBTA; Buys Environmental Pest Service
LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Pest control firm Rentokil Initial Plc. (RTOKY.PK, RTO.L) Friday said it now expects the final outcome for the year 2020 to be slightly above the top end of the range of current market expectations for adjusted PBTA.
The Company-compiled current range of analyst forecasts for adjusted PBTA for 2020 is 292 million pounds to 337 million pounds.
The company previously indicated that full-year result would be at least in line with expectations.
In its trading statement, the company said trading across both Hygiene and Pest Control categories has continued to be strong in the fourth quarter, primarily reflecting continued strong sales from one-off disinfection services.
Rentokil acquires EPS
Reading, Pa.-based Rentokil North America has acquired Environmental Pest Service (EPS), headquartered in Tampa, Fla. EPS is the parent company of Bug Out Service and Arrow Environmental Services. The acquisition expands Rentokil’s service operations in Florida, North Carolina and Georgia. LR Tullius acted as exclusive financial advisor to EPS; terms were not disclosed.
