Airport Worldreport from today, the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) said, “moving operations to the new state-of-the-art facility is a major step towards achieving the Kingdomâs ambitious Economic Vision 2030,” which consists on “diversification and sustainability goals and developing Bahrainâs position as a financial, cultural, and aviation centre in the region.”
BAH’s new terminal is an integral part of that vision, and a key part of the Modernization Program, which is designed to “enhance the airportâs strategic position, stimulate national economic growth, and drive investment into the Kingdom,” the portal stated.

Now also drive-in Test Centre at the airport

COVID19 Testing Facilities for Departing Passengers Open at Hong Kong Airport
(11 Dec 2020) To facilitate the increasing need for COVID19 test results prior to travel, a testing facility has opened in a non-restricted area of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), with a second scheduled to open later this month.
The first COVID19 testing service is being operated by Prenetics. Passengers who want to take Prenetics test will need to arrive at the airport at least four hours before boarding to allow sufficient time for completing the test and obtaining the test result on the same day.
