Happened changed the life of an 18yearold. Reporter this is the aftermath of a heartbreaking crash. Especially at that age theres a lot of life ahead of them. The passenger died at the hands of her 18yearold friend crashing in redwood city. The driver was on southbound 101 just past the whipple avenue exit where she drove off the highway down this embankment and went airborne before crashing into a light pole and flipping on veterans boulevard. Officers say the driver will likely drive. In the manner of which it happened it has been a very tragic last couple of days. Reporter the fourth fatal incident that redwood city has investigated, the driver was taken to stanford hospital to be treated for major injuries. The chp says she was arrested on charges of dui and regular manslaughter. Both teams living in san jose. Theres a lot of ways to get home safely.
