Waterfront towers under way on West Palm Beach s North End © Arquitectonica Groundbreaking takes place this week for Icon Marina Village, on North Flagler Drive. (Arquitectonica) WEST PALM BEACH The transformation of West Palm Beach s once sleepy North End is taking another step forward this week and upward as construction starts on two waterfront apartment towers. Groundbreaking is scheduled for Wednesday morning for the first two Arquitectonica-designed buildings of the Icon Marina Village, 24-story towers to rise beside the Rybovich megayacht marina at 4444 N. Flagler Drive. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2024, with the first units to open for rental that October. The seawall already is under construction.
