Then, the federal government made it illegal for him to leap from one airplane to another without a parachute. His signature move outlawed, Krantz killed off his alter-ego, Diavolo. The world-class wing-walker with the waxed mustache last performed for the traveling circus in the summer of 1928 over Teterboro Airport.
