Tribeca Film Festival, South Bay Film Society to screen Redondo filmmaker’s “Lorelei”

“Fairy tales can come true. They can happen to you, when you’re young at heart.” And no one has a younger heart than 75-year-old Redondo Beach resident Arnold Zimmerman who has just had a fairy tale come true. Against seemingly insurmountable odds, he has a film opening June 19 at the Tribeca Film Festival. Written and directed by Sabrina Doyle,
was executive produced and nurtured through the filmmaking process by Zimmerman.
It all started with a dream, a story, a filmmaker who listened, and a vision that they shared.
The 38th annual Miami Film Festival kicked off with an opening-night celebration featuring smiling actors and filmmakers walking down a lush red carpet as excited attendees snapped their images and media conducted breathless sidewalk interviews, The Miami Times among them.
The scene was a welcome change from last year, when the pandemic forced the festival to be cut short after just six days. Now itâs moving forward with virtual and in-person screenings for its entire 10-day run, which commenced with the world premiere of âLudiâ at Silverspot Cinema last Friday, on Miamiâs â305 Day.â
