The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) has announced that six dioceses will form a united front in creating synergies for peacebuilding processes to address the root causes of conflict that trigger violence among the pastoralist communities in the North Rift region.
Rt. Rev. Wilybard Lagho, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Malindi, Kenya, has called on global actors to open channels of dialogue with children and involve them in decision-making processes in the fight for global financial justice.
“One of my priorities is to position Caritas as the organized service of charity by promoting local leadership, ecumenical cooperation, and then working closely with actors from other like-minded religious groups, synodality or communion,” Ms Lucy Afandi Espila, the Executive Secretary of Caritas Africa has said.
