The ice, the cold, the snow it all took some getting used to for a dude from Florida. But the radical adjustment in winter weather from his home in Jacksonville, Fla. to his new home in Bloomington was a change that D.J. Matthews was willing no, eager to make.
The former Florida State receiver found himself enthused about flying north to start the spring semester at IU in January, the first checkpoint in what he hopes will be a strong finish to his college career later this fall. At Indiana, Matthews sees opportunity. He sees an offense with great potential, and he sees himself fitting into a couple of familiar roles when spring practice gets underway next week.
Former 5-Star Linebacker Ale Kaho to Transfer to Utah
Former Alabama 5-star linebacker Ale Kaho has announced on Twitter that he will be transferring to the University of Utah for next season.
Kaho makes the announcement that he will be heading to Salt Lake City just six days after entering the transfer portal.

The Reno, Nevada product was an Army All-American coming out of high school and one of the more hyped linebacker prospects of the Saban era. Kaho was never really able to nail down a big role on the defense however, totaling 31 tackles and one fumble recovery during his three years in Tuscaloosa in a backup and special teams role.

AUSTIN, Texas Since stepping on the field as a sophomore for the varsity team at Cibolo Steele High School, Caden Sterns has been a guy loaded with potential as a football player. In high school, he helped the Knights reach the state title game his junior season. As a senior, he emerged as a 5-star recruit and was named the defensive MVP of the prestigious Army All-American game.
“I’ve put so much time in since a young age,” says Sterns. “It really started in high school when I was working so much, became a workhorse and dedicated to my craft.”
