A recount was held in 65 polling stations in Armenia on June 22 and 23, as a result of which the number of ballots received by the opposition Hayastan (Armenia) bloc increased by 744, while those of the Civil Contract party by 659, PANArmenian reports citing the Central Election Commission.
Caretaker Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won over 53% of the vote, while Hayastan (Armenia) bloc headed by second President Robert Kocharyan secured over 21.4% of the ballots. I Have Honor bloc too will get seats in the parliament.
Results remain unchanged in 15 polling places. The following changes were registered for each of the parties and blocs, participating in elections (-decrease, + increase):
