In that meeting, with your then Chief of Staff, the late Mallam Abba Kyari, in attendance, we touched on a number of issues including the insecurity in the country and about which you directed that I should do a short brief on my suggestion and forward to your Chief of Staff.
Mr. President may wish to know that I did as you directed and submitted my suggestion to your then Chief of Staff on the October 20 2018.

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, on Monday, tasked President Muhammadu Buhari to take action in addressing the rising insecurity, agitation and other related hostilities in Nigeria.
Anyim, however, urged President Buhari to set up a fresh commission of inquiry as a way to nip in the bud the increasing insecurity in Nigeria.
The former Senate President made this known in a statement signed and addressed to President Mohammadu Buhari and forwarded to DAILY POST.

Gov Ikpeazu awards scholarship to Abia-born electricity transformer innovator

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has awarded 5 years full scholarship to Mr Solomon Ukoha who constructed an electricity substation with crude oil and other locally sourced materials.
Governor Ikpeazu made this known on Monday at his lodge in Aba while receiving the 24 years old Solomon, a native of Amaekpu in Ohafia Local Government Area of the state.
According to Ikpeazu, the scholarship is for him to further his education in any tertiary institution of his choice.
The governor expressed joy over the technical ingenuity exhibited by the young innovator noting that Abia has youths who can compete favourably with their international counterparts in technical education if given the opportunity.
