MANCHESTER â The Manchester Music Festival is kicking off its season this weekend for five-weeks of classical music that blends familiar favorites with exciting lesser-known masterpieces.
Betsy Bleakie, festival executive director, said that after suffering through the pandemic and piping performances through digital channels, itâs exciting to be back on the stage with people in the audience.
âWeâre excited to bring live musicians back after the year weâve all lived through,â Bleakie said. âWe are bringing back live music, the way chamber music is meant to be performed. People are hungry for it.â
