LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A federal investigation has resulted in charges against four people for their alleged involvement in fire bombings of police vehicles in Little Rock and North Little Rock in August 2020. Cody Hiland, United States attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives New Orleans Field Division Special Agent in Charge Kurt Thielhorn announced Thursday’s arrests of Brittany Dawn Jeffrey, 31; Emily Nowlin, 27; Renea Goddard, 22; and Aline Espinosa-Villegas, 24; all of Little Rock.
According to the criminal complaint filed Monday, numerous incidents of vandalism occurred after protests were held at local police stations earlier this year. On Aug. 25, a large group of protestors held a demonstration at the Little Rock Police Department 12th Street Substation.
