As a one-stop-shop for a whole slew of outdoor recreation enthusiasts, Lake Pueblo was discovered” last summer as a haven for people looking to escape the reality of a global pandemic.
This year, Lake Pueblo, which is an ideal spot for fishing, boating, camping as well as hiking and biking opportunities, likely will be nearly as busy.
“It was definitely one of the craziest and fullest summers as a lot of people discovered the park because there wasn’t much else to do,” said Matt Taylor, a Lake Pueblo State Park ranger. “Maybe this year we will not have quite as many people.”
