A portion of Highway 167 was renamed Tuesday for Madison Murphy, pictured, a former Arkansas Highway Commissioner who was integral in getting the state s Connecting Arkansas highway funding program underway. Approximately 100 miles of the highway was rededicated in Murphy s honor at a ceremony at the El Dorado Welcome Center on Tuesday afternoon.
