SILOAM SPRINGS The Arkansas Department of Transportation is working jointly with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to conduct a study of U.S. 412 between Interstate 35 in Oklahoma and Interstate 49 in Arkansas.
The bridge carrying Arkansas 91 over the Cache River in Craighead County was closed Thursday after inspectors discovered rust and decay on the beams at one end of it, according to the state Department of Transportation.
