The Chotay Taray Foundation (CTF) marks 16 years of transformative work in Kashmir, providing a haven for specially-abled children. Founded by Arjumand Makhdoomi in response to a surge in special needs cases, CTF has grown from a single room caring for three children to a multi-story structure supporting over 8,000 rehabilitation services. Despite initial challenges and societal stigma, CTF empowers children through education, healthcare, vocational training, and mental health initiatives, fostering inclusivity and challenging stereotypes in Kashmiri society.
