Jamia’s Missing Donation Box Recovered From Thieves, Police
SRINAGAR: Police in Shopian solved a theft case by arresting two accused persons involved in the commission of crime and have recovered stolen property from their possession.
Police Station Shopian received a written complaint from Intizamiya Committee of Jamia Masjid Shopian stating that some unknown thief/thieves have stolen a donation box along with money from Jamia Masjid Shopian during the intervening night of 28-29/04/2021.
On receiving the complaint, a case under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Shopian and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, officers using all available means learnt about the involvement of two accused persons identified as Arif Ahmed Bhat son of Mohd Yaseen and Owais Ahmed Lone son of Ab Hamid Lone both residents of Sedow Shopian. Subsequently, both the accused persons have been arrested and shifted to Police Station where they remain in custod

JAMMU, Jan 11: A big recruitment scam in the Handicrafts Department Kashmir on the fake recruitment letter from the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB), has raised question mark on the state of affairs in the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir State as three Assistant Training Officers appointed on the fake letter with âforged signaturesâ of Secretary, SSRB continued to draw salaries for the last about three years besides enjoying other service benefits.
Official sources told the Excelsior that this big recruitment fraud was believed to be committed with the active connivance of some insiders in the J&K Services Selection Board and the Handicrafts Department Kashmir, just to accommodate three blue eyed persons including two relatives of influential bureaucrats and another, a family member of a leader from ruling party,
