Youths recognized in YMCA-FCA scholarship program
PRATTVILLE Jenna Stilling was surprised to hear her name called out Monday night as the winner of the Willis Bradford Christian Leadership Award.
The Prattville Christian Academy senior was among six qualifiers from high schools serving Autauga County for the YMCA-Fellowship of Christian Athletes program. Jenna, a self-described introvert, said the presentation by Mike Lamar, a member of the Y s board, could have applied to any of the qualifiers. I read through the social media posts that the YMCA put out about a week ago and I knew that all those statements described every single one of the individuals out here so I really didn t expect it, she said.
