It was a game we couldn’t watch, but only the second of the season a major improvement over last year, so, baby steps.
And, guess what, we’ve got highlights too!
Betevé kindly uploaded a 2 min 41 sec recap of the game, allowing us all to see 17-year-old Ariana Arias’ first goal for Real Madrid Femenino, along with the 7 other scored by the rest of the team. It sounded like a complete performance and the highlights seem to indicate that. Madrid created numerous chances outside of the ones they converted, though Espanyol did get one back after some sloppy play on the ball from Claudia Florentino.
