we ve got that, i think, that if there s one thing that s clear to me, it s that it s not, like, republicans will tell you, yes, big money has too much influence. that shows up widely in the polling, but also anecdotally. you re out reporting and talking to people so why aren t we doing something about it? why isn t this at least 10% of being discussed? but instead, we spend eight weeks trying to line the depths of donald trump s brain, instead of talking about a real issue that if we d solve, would make it really possible to govern. still ahead, my interview with seth myers. don t go anywhere. take zzzquil and sleep like. you haven t seen your bed in days. no, like you haven t seen a bed in weeks! zzzquil. the non habit-forming sleep aid that helps you sleep easily, and wake refreshed. because sleep
are doing. and are doing, keep doing. president poroshenko was at the clinton initiative. he s clear for the need for help. it will be interesting to see what happens if they have a substantive talk today. let s talk about the migrant crisis in europe. secretary kerry is nounsed that the u.s. in 2017 will take in 100,000 refugees. is the u.s. doing enough today? i think we need to do more. and it is a crisis that obviously has affected the middle east and europe and i do think that the united states can and should do more. why aren t we doing more? well, because i think that we are doing so many other things. we have in fact contributed a great deal to helping people in the refugee camps in syria and a number of places in the neighbors and really are doing everything that we can. i think we need to adjust ourselves to seeing that this is a crisis that also affects us and not just kind of looking at what the europeans are or aren t
maybe al qaeda is con contracting. these things go through cycles. the geographic reach is pretty worrying. look at their method of communication. boko haram copying or marrying a lot of what isis has been doing even their terrorism, their beheading. they started to do that just like isis was doing. boko haram has been running wild through west africa. we still have 270 school girls that everyone was wearing #bring the girls home. everyone has forgotten it apparently. no one is really paying attention. this is growing bigger in west africa. well i think what s happening all over the islamic world is that this waive of radical fundamentalism is continuing to build. it has not crested. it is not receding. i think this is analogous to europe after world war i when you had communists and other radical movements breaking out in country after country. obviously the revolution succeeding in russia. not so much in some of the other countries.
focused on at this point. i think they still believe that it s a small caliber possible rifle because the shot appears to have come from a distance. and seems to be pretty well dead on. i mean, to be able to hit somebody in the face and then in the shoulder. those are not accidental shots. those are very close to kill shots. and so, it s very concerning but, again they both of the officers seem to be doing fine at this point. how are your officers and the police force doing? as we saw for more than 200 days now. they are under scrutiny. but they still have to do their job to the best of their ability. how are they doing? i think it s a testament to the strength of these officers. look at what awful these officers, not just from ferguson but all of the officers in the st. louis region had to endure constant nightly protests for many months. you know, we haven t had anything really since november until just recently. but, they have been holding up well. it is taxing on them. it s t
leader right now. the russian. missing. he is missing. the russian military is in disarray. i mean, they are having to combine four or five units to make a single unit to go into the ukraine. this is not a world super power. so why are we why is germany why aren t we doing more? we talked about this earlier. i think it s like the 30 s all over again. it s a war, weary western world that likes the status quo. and putin is there to poke a stick in our eye. we don t have the status quo because he changed the status quo. the status quo is that he didn t have ukraine. that was the status quo. he keeps changing the status quo. that s exactly right. and we accept it well, does anybody even talk about the crimea being part of the ukraine anymore? of course not. it s the same thing with eastern ukraine. as i said in the piece, game, set, and match. look we all know that sanctions don t work, negotiations don t work. we can t push the red reset button. and the bottom line is only
