There was a call for justice in Little Village on Sunday, Baltazar Enriquez speaking up to remind everyone that Pedro Che Choc was somebody worthy of it. "He’s human, he’s somebody’s son," said Enriquez, of the Little Village Community Council. "He’s somebody’s family member." In the early-morning hours this past Wednesday, according to Chicago police, Choc, 29, was on his way to work. He was warming up his car from the driver's seat in the 3400 block of W. 24th St., near S. Trumbull Ave., in the Little Village neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side when he was shot in the chest and killed. Choc immigrated from Guatemala to Chicago just 18 months ago.
