the volcano has been actively erupting for eight days but the ash cloud moved away from area airports. now shifting winds have forced the airports to shut down. the volcano is still steadily erupting more than a week after an enormous smoke and ash plume made its way to europe, canceling nearly 100,000 flights. authorities in mississippi say a white supremacist lawyer found dead in his house had been found stabbed, beaten, and his body set on fire. a neighbor has been charged with the murder. the body of lawyer richard barrett was found yesterday morning in his home in a rural area outside jackson, mississippi. 22-year-old vincent mckee has been charged with barrett s murder. he is an african-american man who lived near bin had done yard work for barrett in the past. moments ago a utah judge signed an execution warrant setting the stage for a convicted killer to die by firing squad. all of this happening on june 18th.
